Bike: Beta 300 RR Race Edition
“I started out with some times that I should not be putting down, and it took me some time to get everything dialed in on day 1. I was down a good bit in time after one day of racing. On day 2 I put the hammer down on the rough course and had some impressive times that put me into second. Once we finished up our last test of the day I was bummed to see I had lost to second place by only 2 seconds! After a full weekend of racing, it is pretty crazy to see that it comes down to only 2 seconds, but I am happy to start the season on the podium in 3rd and healthy heading into round 1 of GNCC in a couple weeks! Thanks Beta and the whole team for all the support this season. We are off to a good start!”
Bike: Beta 250 RR Race Edition
“On day one I started off pretty poor. I over rode the first 2 test pushing too hard and making a lot of mistakes. As the day went on I felt better on the bike and started to make ground on the people in front of me. On the second day, I had a much better first two test and was siting in 3rd for the day. Sadly a little issue in the 4th test of the day really put a damper on it, and I ended up dropping back some positions, but was able to put in solid test results in the final two tests of the day. After both days I finished in the 5th spot in Pro2. I’m happy with how I rode both days and my Beta 250 RR was working awesome in the deep sand and gnarly woods! It was a good change in pace to try one of these races as I’ve never done a Full Gas Sprint Enduro before. I really liked the racing format, and I’m looking forward to hitting more of these hopefully as the year goes on.”
