Ryder Schnowske was born in Cambridge, Illinois and began racing at four years old. Ryder loved riding and his goal was to become a professional racer. Tragically Ryder passed away on June 22, 2019 while attempting to qualify for the AMA Amateur National at the Baja Acres Regional Championship, Ryder was 15 years old.

The Ryder Schnowske Memorial Fund was setup in his honor, thus incorporating the scholarship awarding $632 to a rider who had shown a true sportsmanlike approach for the 2020 AMA Amateur National Motocross Championship.

Christopher was battling for the lead position, and was involved in a crash with another rider. The other rider had his leg trapped beneath his bike, and was not able to lift the bike off of himself. Christopher heard the other rider yelling, proceeded to drop his own bike and run over to the other rider and help get his bike off of him.

Check out the video of Christopher helping.
