“I got off to a good start and was in the second spot for the first and second lap. Right before the first gas stop I was able to make the pass for the lead and start pulling away. My Beta 125 RR was running amazing! My mechanic; Sam Gaines has my bike so dialed! After the first pit I just put my head down and charged the whole race and was able to take the xc3 win and finish 17th overall!!!”

“The General GNCC started off really well with yet another holeshot on my Beta rocket ship! I latched on and felt comfortable up front until I got wrapped up into a vine laying in the track which caused me to lose a lot of time. I had to lay my bike over and pry it out of the shifter. When I got going again 4th and 5th place caught up to me which I had easily 30+ seconds on. I was very frustrated and riding well over my head trying to catch back up. I should have calmed down and just rode like I knew how. I still battled it out for the podium up to the checkered flag. In the end, I was frustrated with my result…I know I should be on the podium every weekend. The biggest bummer was I rode my butt off but everything seemed to want to get in my way of another awesome ride! We will look onward and focus on the next race. Big thanks to my team for the hard work. We will be back!”

“While the result was not quite what I’m looking for, I know my speed is there and I feel like I am heading in the right direction. I chased the lead pack down several times throughout the day, and if I can be a little smoother and more consistent in my riding, I think we’ll be seeing some podiums soon. The course itself was a blast, and I’m looking forward to the next GNCC in North Carolina!”
