Payson, UT (August 17, 2020) – The gate dropped on the opening round of the 2020 Pro Motocross Championship series at the famous Loretta Lynn Ranch in Hurricane Mills, TN, the track’s first-ever pro motocross national event. Team rider Blake Baggett put in two solid motos to earn a 6th place finish, while teammate Justin Bogle returned to the action under the team tent.

Blake Baggett got traction out of the gate for the first moto at the ranch and rounded the first turn deep in the pack. The Dunlop supported rider wasted no time going to work and moved his way into the top 10 by the end of lap two. Blake found himself in a battle for 8th before a mistake dropped him outside of the top 10 once again. He then put in a charge through the field, moving from 16th place back into the top 10 by the latter half of the race to take the checkered flag in 8th place. A top 10 start in the second moto put Blake in a good position early on. He moved his way from the tail-end of the top 10 to 6th place by the second lap. He didn’t stop there, though, and worked his way into the top 5, crossing the finish line in 4th place. With his 8-4 score, Blake earned 6th overall for the day.
“I felt good out there today. The track was rough and my starts helped me run with the front pack. My speed is there and we will make a few adjustments for next week, come back for round two ready to fight for a podium.”Blake Baggett

Justin Bogle made his return to racing with a solid start in the first moto as he rounded the first turn inside the top 10. He battled for position early in the race, but slid outside the top 10 by the midway point of the race, eventually crossing the finish line in 17th place. Justin unfortunately did not start the second moto.
