CENTER HILL, Fl. (March 10, 2019) – Jeff Ward, one of the most well-rounded athletes in motorsports will be contending in the Daytona TT presented by American Flat Track on March 14, 2019. He will be piloting a KTM 450 SX-F through the support of Moto Anatomy’s Johnny Lewis, Solid Performance KTM, WP Suspension, Blackmore Ranch, Troy Lee Designs, Malcolm Smith Motorcycles, The W Training Facility, and Monster Energy.
Ward was inducted into the Motorcycle Hall of Fame in 1999 for his variety of accomplishments. His career is lined with championships from AMA Motocross, AMA Supermoto, IndyCar and NASCAR. Going back to his childhood roots of TT’s and flat track, Ward will race in the five TT events and possibly short track events in the 2019 American Flat Track season.
Johnny Lewis, Moto Anatomy flat-track training facility Founder and National Flat Track racer #10, will be providing logistical, training, and technical support to Ward. Lewis provides training internationally to students who are eager to learn the discipline and all that encompasses being a well-rounded athlete. With a focus on holistic training, Moto Anatomy training branches out to mold physical, mental, and technical fortitude to its students.
At the age of 57, Ward still seamlessly encompasses the Moto Anatomy philosophy and is ready to rip up the TT with riders more than half his age. With the mental and physical fortitude, he transcends “age” and finds his spirit in the adversity of new ventures.
“It’s been an honor to work directly with Ward already on this project and his transition to American Flat Track”, say Johnny Lewis. “To be around a man with so much talent and skill honed in from many years of two and four-wheel racing has been as educational to me as the knowledge I’ve been able to provide him for flat track.”
Moto Anatomy has also teamed up with Solid Performance KTM to provide Ward with a KTM 450 SX-F complete with a variety of upgrades. The chassis boasts of enhancements by WP Suspension, Dunlop tires, Warp 9 racing wheels, Rekluse clutch, Motion Pro Rev2 Throttle Kit, Motion Pro Coolant Recovery Tank, FMF exhaust, Mika Metals grips and handlebars, DT1 air filter, and much more.
